Touring West of Ireland with Dave Hogan and Dovechauffeurdrive
Up and away once again early this morning in time to greet my latest arrivals at Shannon airport. My new friends, Gary and Joan, must have been exhausted, as they had traveled from Iowa via Chicago, and on to Philadelphia, on their way for their first visit to Ireland. I think that they still look well in the photo above.
Shannon is a great and very handy airport to use if you want to take in the west of Ireland. I often get my clients to come via Shannon, and finish off by taking them to Dublin at the end, where they can then spend a final couple of days, before flying back to the USA. They can also do it the other way around, and fly into Dublin to start off, and finish by flying out of Shannon after touring the west. Shannon is a joy as it is so quiet compared to the major airports like Dublin.
Our weather right now is unsettled, but hopefully will pick up. It is not cold though, but we can expect showers.
Their traveling companions, Les and Cher, arrived in Galway later, to join them on this tour, and tomorrow we are all off together to begin another exciting tour of the Wild Atlantic was and the beautiful West of Ireland.
Come along and enjoy.
If you need me for anything, just send me a message.
