We were on our way to Killarney, passing through the beautiful town of Adare, on our way there. Adare is renowned for its old thatched cottages, seen in the background in the picture above.
The Old Trinitarian Church, dating back to the twelve hundreds, is a very special place to visit in Adare.
We arrived at our Killarney hotel, The Killarney Plaza, around midday, before heading off to see the main sights on the Ring of Kerry.
Our first stop on the Ring was Torc Waterfall.
We made our way to the mountain summit at Moll's Gap where i took this picture. The Gap in the mountains in the background, is known as the Gap of Dunloe. For a group who had been traveling from early yesterday, my friends were all in great form, and more than willing to see the first day out without crashing. I think that the lovely sunny day helped a lot, and of course they were all enthralled by the beauty of the Kerry mountains, and the National Forest Park.Ladies View must be one of the most spectacular views anywhere. Here we have Nicole and Stone, with the magnificent lakes of Killarney in the valley down below.
We just had to get the full group together for a photo at this famous spot, and i think that their happy smiles added to the beauty of this very special place.
This was a great start to what i know will be a really nice tour, and i myself already feel like just one of this happy holiday group, and look forward to the next few days as we make our way through some of the Wild Atlantic was beauty spots. Come along with us, and enjoy.
If you need me for anything just message me. We can plan the perfect holiday for you too.
