Blarney Castle and Kinsale with the Holson party

Today we traveled to the Blarney Castle as we continued our tour of the south west of Ireland

 Here we have my happy ladies, in the grounds of the Blarney castle, before they commenced their climb to the top to kiss the Blarney stone.

 Inside the castle now, and staring their long climb to the top, where the famous stone is waiting to be kissed.

 Later we moved on to Kinsale, where we are staying for the next two nights in the McDonald's Kinsale Hotel. They became acquainted with the hotel cat, Tom, and he certainly was at home with them, as you can see from this picture.

 Pictured together, outside the front of the hotel in the glorious sunshine, Today was a real Irish weather day, a mixture of sunshine and showers.

Later again they spent some time in Kinsale, and here we have them,

seated in front of the harbour.

They also enjoyed a really nice meal in the White House restaurant in Kinsale tonight. This once again was a most enjoyable day.
