Today my pals were off to the magical gap of Dunloe in the Kerry mountains. In the picture above, we have Fran and Becky in their jaunting car, as they begin this epic journey through what is a glacial Gorge.
Becky and Stan, obviously enjoying the trip.
A view of the Gap road ahead, and the Gap itself.
The second leg of the journey is a trip down through the lakes of Killarney, and here we have our boatman, issuing instructions as they begin this fantastic journey.
Becky is enjoying the trip, and stories, as the boatman points the way.
A lovely photo as they travel on Lough Leane to their destination at Ross Castle.
Approaching this majestic castle.
and now, finally, photographed together, as they are once again on dry land.
A lovely picture of Becky and Stan, with some beautiful Foxgloves in the background.
Another great down on the Wild Atlantic Way.
