Ladies View and Muckross House

This morning we were fortunate as the sun was shining for us at Ladies view on the Ring of Kerry. Here we have, from the left, Eliza, Alex, Andrew and Christine, with the beautiful lakes of Killarney below in the valley.
Eliza and Alex, enjoying the moment at Ladies View.
Torc waterfall is only a short distance from Ladies view, and eventhough it is not a large waterfall, it is a very popular place to visit

We spent time at Muckross House and gardens, also visiting the restored farmhouses, which are well worth a visit there. The gardens at this time of the year are a blaze of colour with the rhododendrons in full bloom.
A view of the rear of the house from the garden.

Some of the stable area at the farms.
There is a fine range of farm animals to see and enjoy as you tour the farms, including the Irish Wolfhounds, pictured above.

The day today started out brightly, but the rain arrived, and turned quiet heavy as the day progressed.
Our tour is drawing to a close, as tomorrow we make our way to Galway city, where we will finally part company.
It has been a pleasure to tour with my new friends, Aliza,Alex,Andrew, and Christine, and i know that they have enjoyed their brief visit to the West and Southwest of Ireland.
