Cliffs of Moher on Wild Atlantic Way chauffeurdriven tour with Dovechauffeurdrive

Last night, Stan, Fran, and Becky, enjoyed a medieval banquet at the ancient Dun Guaire castle in Kinvara. These banquets are most entertaining with songs and poetry to accompany an enjoyable meal. You can also sample some of the ancient Mead honey drink, but take care, you just might find it a little strong.

Some of the entertainers at the show last night.
Stan and Becky, all smiling and happy at the end of the night. Fran is pictured on the right.
This morning our destination was the Cliffs of Moher and the weather looked anything but favourable. However, when we did finally arrive there, the rain stopped long enough for us to really enjoy the wonderful scenery. Here above, we have, from the left, Fran, Becky, and Stan.
Huddled together at the top of the Cliffs, with the O'Brien's Tower in the background.
At this stage the rain had stopped completely as you can see, with Becky and Fran, relishing the great fresh air.
The rain was never far away today, as you can see in this picture of the cliffs, as we prepared to leave.

Our final destination today was Killarney, and we arrived there mid afternoon, and checked into the fine Killarney Plaza Hotel before relaxing with a nice snack in their grill bar. This is a lovely hotel, with a great location right in the heart of the town, and a hotel i would highly recommend, if you are planning on a stay in Killarney.

Now our tour of the Kerry peninsulas begins, so please follow along as we make our way through some of Ireland's most beautiful regions.
